Just a quick note to thank you for your participation in this year's BunkFest - we had a fabulous festival with record breaking crowds - nearly 23,000 people attended this year and they all enjoyed themselves immensely watching all the wonderful dance performances!!! Thankyou so much for all your talent and enthusiasm and we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as the audiences did. There are too many hilights to mention but all the dancing I saw was absolutely first class - if you have any pictures of the festival we would love to see them, there are some goodies on the website at www.bunkfest.co.uk too!
Next year's festival is on the 30th & 31st aug and 2nd sept 2013 and I hope very much you can join us again then! Happy dancing and hope to see you all somewhere in the year,

Thank you and your friends to for bringing such enjoyment to us all. Many people commented on how good it was to have young morris dancers in, what was to us, non-traditional costume. We all enjoyed your presence and performances very much. I have just come home from a celebratory drinks evening and the treasurer has told us that he thinks the fete made about £4,000 profit for our church and the Jerusalem Eye Hospital. Great news! Bronwen and Glan got married in Bampton at 2pm and went off for the wedding breakfast about 3ish after photos outside the church....They were hoping for a bit of light entertainment whilst having photos taken - stop people getting bored really. Here's what they emailed us afterwards:

Thank you so much for being one of our ‘acts’ at the 2010 BACA ceremony in October.
We have had nothing but positive feedback from the audience, judges, presenters and award winners / runners up. Everyone was enthralled by your performances and you all contributed to a special evening.

Last year's event was great fun, and the presence and participation of Lumbawakk was a a big part of it . The mixture of display dancing and active participation in barn dances was fab.

We had a whole host of wonderful Thank You cards from St Nicholas School Wallingford in July 2009. It was so difficult to choose a few to put up here because they were all so fabulous and we enjoyed reading every single one. Several times!!
We have now added the word booformunch to our Lumbawakk vocabulary as an alternative version of performance.
