2009 Bunkfest, Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Lumbawakk had a wonderful time at Wallingford Bunkfest 2009. Twenty one team members performed in eight dancing spots, twenty five dances in all. Eleven of us camped. Loads and loads of us went to the evening ceilidhs. We were paired with some awesome teams including Beltane Border and Gog Magog Molly.
We met old friends and made new friends. Serious thanks to the organisers who did a wonderful job and organised fabulous dancing weather too and crowds of appreciative audiences. Thanks to the photographers who've contributed to this page. If you have more, please send them on.
Because it was such a wonderful weekend we've put in almost all the photos we've got rather than edit out ones you'd like to see. Do trawl your way to the bottom where there are camping photos, wide pictures, and other teams.

Camp Lumbawakk - sadly no room for James' Palace in this photo...

The youth campers prepared their own evening meals.
And managed to eat them too.

Seriously though, they did very well...To eat the food.

James arrived to find his tent padlocked! So, ninja-like, he slithered in under the flysheet to find his bed had been specially prepared for him...

Just look at the amount of space he had in there.
So much so that the three people with a massive tent and a tiny tent between them decided that it would be best to put two people in the massive tent and one in the tiny tent. Smart, eh?

Evening activities included a ceilidh on Friday and Saturday
Double knot those laces or you might fall over...

Nice straight lines BUT what is Sid doing? Coughing or picking his nose!
